All our watches from conception, development and assembly are 100% done in-house.
Based in Besançon, the watch capital of France, the PHENOMEN brand is the proud result of historical French precision watchmaking but also benefits from its geographical proximity with its partners in Switzerland.
Alexandre Meyer has brought a keen eye to watchmaking along with 10 years of studying automobile silhouettes, and with the first PHENOMEN model was able to innovate in a revolutionary manner the appearance and style of the modern watch.
The PH-010 design movement is a pure product of PHENOMEN and the brainchild of Sylvain Nourisson, who after having designed fifty movements for Swiss and Japanese models, has developed a working system that combines the technical challenges and industrial constraints into one model.
The entire assembly of over 300 components that comprise the first AXIOM driver’s watch is entirely done in-house at the horology workshop, a meticulous ballet overseen with passion and attention to detail by Maxime Colson, head of watchmaking. The result is a watch that exemplifies PHENOMEN’s quest for excellence.
OBJECTS OF DESIRE
PHENOMEN relies on various in-house departments to maintain control over the entire watch-building process and thus guarantee the highest levels of quality.
A mechanical workshop equipped with both conventional and computer numerical control (CNC) machines that produce and test all PHENOMEN prototypes.
A horology workshop that assembles the more than 300 parts that constitute the pioneering AXIOM driver’s watch.
An analysis and control laboratory with optical measurement devices that ensure all components meet quality standards.
A test bed to carry out 600 hours of checking procedure for each watch before delivery.
